Later on, some mother fishes came around me. Nobody said a word but just stayed and danced as if trying to entertain me until finally they made me laugh,
Under the sea we had days and nights.
During the days, we did nothing but enjoy them,
During the nights, we had no choice but to endure them.
Life had been like that since you left us.
Our children had never asked me again where you were. The friendly big fish had always appeared to distract them. They came back telling me they had played with dad.
One year passed, then another, then another and yet, we still preferred to be under the sea.
Then one day, we reached the top of the water.
As we had our head out of the blue water, we looked around and just noticed the bright sun in the clear blue sky. It brought us hope and joys. Not even a single boat. Nobody. Nothing but the three of us with the bright sun on top of us and the birds flying high and low.
The seashore wasn't too far. I told our children to swim towards it. We did happily. We reached the shore and started to feel the white sand, danced and lived again!
