We've Only Just Begun

We've only just begun to live

White lace and promises

A kiss for luck and we're on our way

We've only begun.

Before the rising sun we fly

So many roads to choose

We start out walking and learn to run

And yes, we've just begun.

Sharing horizons that are new to us

Watching the signs along the way

Talking it over just the two of us

Working together day to day

 The lights from the match sticks went higher. They settled themselves in the air, high enough for humans on the darkened earth not to reach them.

 As he came closer to other people on the streets, they were not many, he realized they were all like zombies. They were like walking dead. They were looking past him as if he was not existing at all.

"So where is that boy now?"

He look at his paper and there the answer was already written.

How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?

Daniel Chapter 12

And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?

And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and a half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

And I heard, but I understood not: then said, I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?

And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.

¿Cuándo se cumplirán estos portentos?

Daniel Capitulo 12

Triunfo Final del Justo

Y en aquel tiempo se levantará Miguel, principe grande, que es defensor de los hijos de tu pueblo; porque vendrá un tiempo tal, cual nunca se ha visto desde que comenzaron a existir las naciones hasta aquel día. Y en aquel tiempo tu pueblo será salvado; todo aquel que se hallare escrito en el libro. 

Y muchos de aquellos que duermen en el polvo de la tierra, despertarán: unos para la vida eterna y otros para la ignominia, la cual tendrán siempre delante de sí. 

Los sabios brillarán como la luz del firmamento; y como estrellas por toda la eternidad aquellos que hubieren enseñado a muchos la justicia. 

 

      Conclusión  

Pero tú, ¡oh Daniel! ten guardadas estas palabras, y sella el libro hasta el tiempo determinado; muchos le recorrerán, y sacarán de él mucha doctrina. 

Y yo, Daniel, observé y vi a otros dos que estaban en pie, uno de esta parte de la orilla del rio y el otro de la otra parte.

Entonces dije a aquel varón que estaba con las vestiduras de lino, y en pie sobre las aguas del rio: ¿Cuándo se cumplirán estos portentos?

Y oí a aquel varón de las vestiduras de lino, que estaba en pie sobre las aguas del rio, el cual, habiendo alzado su diestra y su izquierda hacia el cielo, juró por aquel que siempre vive, y dijo: En un tiempo, dos tiempos, y la mitad de un tiempo. Y cuando se haya cumplido la dispersión de la muchedumbre del pueblo santo, entonces tendrán efecto todas estas cosas.

Yo oí esto, mas no lo comprendí. Y dije: ¡Oh, Señor mio!, ¿qué es lo que sucederá después de estas cosas?

Y él me dijo: Anda, Daniel, que éstas son cosas recónditas y selladas hasta el tiempo determinado.

Muchos serán escogidos, y blanqueados, y purificados como por fuego. Pero los impíos obrarán impíamente; ninguno de los impíos lo entenderá, mas los sabios lo comprenderán.

Y desde el tiempo en que será quitado el sacrificio perpetuo y será entronizada la abominación de la desolación pasarán mil doscientos noventa dias.

Bienaventurado el que espere y llegue a mil trescientos treinta y cinco dias.

Mas tú, anda hasta el término señalado; reposarás, y gozarás de tu suerte al fin de los dias.

 His eyes go big. Mother Mary! He closes his eyes to look at them again to confirm what he is seeing. But they disappear as if gone with the wind!

He was lonely. So he created everything. He gave all that he had.  From deep inside his heart, he extracted all that it contained. But nothing was sufficient to his human creations.
