The Burning Fire
Reading about the Beginning and Ending in the previous article:
what is left is in the battlefield, the water's depth; the wild forest; and what we call, the life lived in the world.
A warrior; a swimmer; a forester; or a survivor that entered and came out; that started and ended; that fought and won; undoubtedly left an enemy; a competitor; an animal; a problem; behind. Behind.
Then what happens?
In the Bible, Matthew 13:36, the disciples came to Jesus and said
"Explain to us the parable of the weeds in the field."
"He answered", as in Matthew 13:37-42:
"The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man. The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the sons of the kingdom. The weeds are the sons of the evil one, and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and harvesters are angels.
As the weeds are pulled up and burned in the fire, so it will be the end of the age. The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. They will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
And to those who made it to the Finish Line gloriously:
"Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear." - Matthew 13:43.
As revealed to John in Revelation 21: 5 - 8:
"He who was seated on the throne said,
'I am making everything new!'
Then he said,
'Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.'
He said to me:
'It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life. He who overcomes will inherit all this and I will be his God and he will be my son.
But the cowardy, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars - their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."
May we all be part of the harvest. The winners. The righteous winners who made it to the Finish Line.
It is what God wants, is working for and fighting for through His Son. The Son of Man. The Redeemer. The Saviour of humankind.
Let us not be stubborn, look and follow God. He is an alliance, not an enemy.
Love is the only Way.
