Round 2: Called 2
"Call on Him!"
The writer suddenly woke up shouting those words. He could not understand why. He left his bed and went to get something to drink. Water. He felt thirsty and perspiring. He realized it was so hot the weather till night, actually early morning. It's three in the morning and hot as it had been during the whole day before.
He decided to go to his writing table. He remembered not writing before going to sleep, but the papers on top of his table were full.
He started to read.
The witness found himself in a very dark place. But he realized that behind his back there was a sort of light. He turned around.
Before his eyes, he saw where the light was coming from. It came from the middle or the inside of the high beautifully colored walls of different stones that had three big gates covered with amazing pearls, each of different kinds. The three gates were opened as lights from inside were coming out from them.
As he looked on the right and left side of the walls which seemed to be formed in square size, he saw three flashes of lights coming out from each side. It seemed there were three gates on the four sides of the walls, assuming the same for the back as well.
"It is like a north, south, east and west open gates of three on each side."
He said to himself as he turned his attention to the top inside of the walls. There was a marvelous mixture of lights of sparkling gold, white and other different colors like all of a flower or fruit colors.
On top of the lights he could see a reflection of what's inside. There were lines of gold, shapes of trees with fruits in different colors and crystal colored springs.
"Are they water?"
He blinked his eyes to see better, but as he opened back his eyes, his attention was called by horrible cries on top of him. Above him were black colored clouds.
He was standing kilometers away from the walls. He was dressed in white shirts and black pants. He was there just for The Pen to write.
He covered his ears for a while as the cries of invisible whoever on the dark top air where he was on his feet were too horrible to listen to. Until he felt it was not strong to his eardrums anymore.
He had his eyes closed when he covered his ears. As he put down his hands and opened his eyes, in front of him he found for himself another horrible thing. It's terrorific!
He saw people in black robes roaming around like lost souls. Some have red eyes and some white.
"I beg you to stop it!"
Someone's plea called his attention among a vast crowd. He went to it, walking past through the others who seemed not to realize nor seen his presence among them. That made it easier for him to move around.
He reached a point halfway to the middle opened gate. There lay on the dark green earth, a man being beaten by other men, three of them and one with a gun in hand.
"I just ask you for food."
The fallen man on the floor cried, his face full of dark spots, obviously from strong hits from the three men's punches on him, but he was not bleeding. His eyes were white while the other three men's were red. Fiery red. All of them wear black robes.
"I told you. If you want to eat, you have to work."
One of the three men shouted.
"I am willing to work."
The man on the floor responded.
Another man, the one holding the gun, got closer.
"Then work! Here is the gun. Kill for your food!"
He conditioned to the beaten man.
"No! I would rather die of hunger than receive the wrath of my Lord!"
The man with the gun was embarrassed with his response and shot him.
"Oh my God!"
The witness felt himself stepping back, horrified but standing still. Nobody around him reacted, obviously not seeing nor hearing him at all.
The fallen man's blood spurted unto the three men's faces and bodies. There wasn't any trace of blood on the fallen man's body but holes, resulting from the several shots from the gun.
Suddenly, the witness heard hair raising sounds from the surrounding. He looked around and found where they came from.
Dogs! Big dogs like rottweilers but bigger and in red colors!
All of the dogs are in fiery red color from eyes to the whole shape of them, even their gnashing teeth!
The witness's eyes were shocked and his mouth opened as if wanting to shout. He felt like he wanted to run away from the scene for the horror he felt, but his feet were pasted on the earth's floor.
In seconds, the dogs came to jump and devour the three men. Just the three men. The others walking and roaming around, their lives kept going, as if no one sees anything nor heard of what's happening around them or they were just denying everything.
"They were denying!"
The witness realized it was so since he saw some of them just looking at the fallen man without any effect on them about his condition on the floor. Instead, they walked past through him and the three men.
He covered his eyes and face. He started to cry so hard. The scene has affected him, but The Pen could not describe.
Then a loud noise made him get back to continue the story.
He saw the soul of one of the men being strongly expelled from the gate. He turned his look to the gate.
The other two men, still wearing black robes, tried to enter the middle gate. But when they tried to pass, an aluminum colored sword fell in front of them to stop them and expelled them high and strong out into the black colored clouds outside the walls. There they were thrown to join the others in their endless cries of pains and horrors.
He looked around searching for the dogs. They disappeared. It seemed they only presented themselves at the smell of blood among the people walking around lost in their black robes.
Looking back at the fallen man, he saw an angel in white robes like the colors of his wings and golden circled crown on top of his head and standing beside the fallen man's body.
The angel lifted up the man with a hand. As he did so, the man's black robe turned into white. The whole of him white. As he lifted himself up, the man looked down at his body. He saw his body turned into dust and became like part of the earth's dust.
The angel holding his hand, led him to the gate. As they reached the gate, the angel let him pass first. The man disappeared into the white clouds inside the walls. Music, songs and happiness could be heard from the inside as he entered. They were celebrating!
Then the angel went in.
The witness looked as they were happening before his eyes. It seemed that only him could see it. No one else around him realized what was happening. All seemed to be too busy.
"This is what the world is."
He sadly murmured to himself, shaking his head while eyes closed. As he opened them back, it was a different panorama before him. He found himself among the people of the existing earth.
He was standing on a street corner facing a tall building.
"Where am I?"
He asked himself. Before he could figure it out, he heard a man begging for his life at this back.
He turned around, there he saw a man with a handgun about to fire a man he pushed against a wall on a little street behind him.
His impulse made him shout to the poor man. He called the attention of both and the man with the gun ran away fast realizing someone saw them, witnessing what he was about to do.
The man left, smiled at him, bowing his head, giving thanks by clasping his hands together like in praying.
"Yes. Deep inside my heart, I called Him to save me. God bless you."
The writer realizes what the man said after he woke up from his dream, reading his words in The Pen's written story on the paper.
