The writer kept watching his TV of what's going on around the world. Laid back comfortably in his swinging chair, he took his rest with a can of beer in hand.
"A famous singer who made a big hit of her song One Moment in Time was found dead due to drug intoxication according to sources."
The news started and went on with another one.
"It was a big surprise for the husband to find out that her double-life wife has been unfaithful to him all these years. She claimed crying that she had been too weak to resist the temptation of lust she felt for the handsome looking driver she has. Justifying herself, she blamed her husband for leaving her alone too many times and too long due to his business travels."
One more followed.
"Another well known millionaire found dead yesterday.
According to sources, he might have committed suicide since a gun was found beside his dead body in his bathroom mansion.
An interviewed business partner has confessed to the public that their company has been in bankruptcy. He related that they would have wanted to generate more revenues for the company to beat competitors.
Unfortunately, they got too excited with every investment and income generated out of them that they reached a point of drunkenness in them and lose control. The partner cried so hard it could really touch anyone's heart."
The writer saw the man bursting with tears on TV. He sighed, let himself sigh deeply to take out his share of pain for the man. He was touched.
He changed channels. He landed on a public ministry.
"Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with dissipation, drunkenness, and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you unexpectedly like a trap. - Luke 21:34"
Then followed by another one.
"Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man. - Luke 21:36"
The writer looked at his watch.
"It is getting late. Better go to bed."
