The Coming of Christ

The Coming of Christ

"There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea." (Luke 21:25)

"Men will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken." (Luke 21:26)

"If the Lord had not cut short those days no one would survive. But for the sake of the elect, whom he has chosen, he has shortened them." (Mark 13:20)

"At that time, if anyone says to you, 'Look, there he is the Christ!' or 'Look, there he is!" do not believe it." (Mark 13:21)

"So if anyone tells you, 'There he is, out in the desert,' do not go out; or, 'Here he is, in the inner rooms,' do not believe it." (Matthew 24:26)

"For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and miracles to deceive the elect - if that were possible." (Mark 13:22)

"So be on guard; I have told you everything ahead of time." (Mark 13:23)

"Don't let anyone deceives you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction." (2 Thessalonians 2:3)

"He opposes and exalts himself over everything that is called God or is worshipped, and even sets himself up in God's temple, proclaiming himself to be God." (2 Thessalonians 2:4)

"The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders, (2 Thessalonians 2:9)

and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved." (2 Thessalonians 2:10)

For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie (2 Thessalonians 2:11)

and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness." (2 Thessalonians 2:12)

"Immediately after the distress of those days, the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken." (Matthew 24:29)

"But in those days, following that distress, 'the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; (Mark 13:24)

the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken'. (Mark 13:25)

"For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man." (Matthew 24:27)

"Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather." (Matthew 24:28)

"At that time men will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory." (Mark 13:26)

"At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory." (Matthew 24:30)

"At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory." (Luke 21:27)

"Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him even those who pierced him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him. So shall it be! Amen." (Revelation 1:7)

"And he will send his angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of heavens." (Mark 13:27)

"And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other." (Matthew 24:31)

"When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near." (Luke 21:28)

"For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first." (1 Thessalonians 4:16)

"After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever." (1 Thessalonians 4:17)

"Therefore encourage each other with these words." (1 Thessalonians 4:18)

"No one knows about the day or hour, not even the angels in heave, nor the Son, but only the Father." (Matthew 24:36)

"As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man." (Matthew 24:37)

"For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark, (Matthew 24:38)

and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man." (Matthew 24:39)

"Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left." (Matthew 24:40)

"Two woman will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left." (Matthew 24:41)

"I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened." (Luke 21:32)

"Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away." (Luke 21:33)

"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble.

But take heart! I have overcome the world." (John 16:33)

Dreamed 3

Round One:Dreamed
Round Two: Dreamed 2
Round Three: Dreamed 3

The writer found himself inside a movie theater where chairs were lined on both sides, left and right. He slowly walked in the aisle then back to the top of the stair. The middle stair that separates both sides of movie watchers.

There were two big screens in front of everyone. One on top of the other. He found it weird.

"What for?"

It was a question he asked himself. He kept observing everywhere. The movie was about to start. The lights were off.

The top screen started to show something. It just started without the usual introduction like that of movie makers, actors, title, etc.

The screen was showing a beautiful view of a plantation. It was a fruit plantation. What was weird, there were mixtures of fruits in one place. It has trees on the outer sides, full of different kinds of tree fruits, and on the middle ground were groups of other growing fruits.

He saw people of all ages, statures, races and walks of life.

"Strange! What is this?"

The seated spectators were all quiet. Still.

The screen showed some people, like children picking some fruits and enjoying eating them. Both young and old seemed to have an eat-all-you can of a Fruit Party.

Everyone watching them on the screen started to smile, giggle and laugh. They too were having fun, just watching . Suddenly, the screen turned off.

The crowd shouted in awe. Everyone started to make unquiet movements on their seats. Most of them looked at their backs toward the projectors, wondering what was going on. While the writer stayed on the top of the stairs by the entrance of the movie theater.

Not too long, the second screen, which was below the other one, turned on. It showed the last scene from the top screen.

"Something must have happened to the first screen. Maybe power failure or whatever function failure."

The writer could only murmur to himself what others have said to each other.

On the screen, people kept moving around happily, enjoying and savoring every fruit that they were allowed to taste freely. While no one from the people watching them could understand the story at all.

Then out of the sides of the trees that surrounded them as if forming like pens or corrals of the whole plantation, came out other humans with horrific faces.

"Animals."

Some spectators viewed them as such and shouted.

"No! They are humans!"

Another, but few people, shouted too.

"You're wrong! They are monsters!"

A little boy stood by the aisle and shouted.

"They are demons!"

Yet another child, a little girl, came to stand beside the boy to shout what she believed she saw.

The writer rubbed his eyes but he could only see shadows of human forms, except the horrific face of demons. He saw two horns on their heads. He stayed standing and watching where he was.

On the screen, the shadows he saw flew like ghosts in the air towards the people. All the people inside the plantation seemed not to realize or have seen them coming. As they landed on each one of the people inside, they became normal human beings beside them.

The movie spectators were surprised. The boy and the girl in the aisle looked at each other.

"They are humans!"

Both of them said to each other in agreement. Slowly, they went back to their seats. All the other people watching the movie started to calm down.

"Are we misjudging what we see?"

It was a question by the writer to himself as if reading all the people's minds.

The new group of humans that entered the plantation were moving, connecting and relating themselves to others. But none were picking up any fruits. Though the others were offering them, none of them have accepted anything.

Then one by one, some who were eating shouted.

"What are  you doing?"

Shouted one when her fruit was grabbed by the newcomer and savored it like an animal.

Then another one somewhere screamed.

"How dare you!"

The same thing was happening as each occurrence was repeated almost everywhere in the plantation.

A scene was also shown where a little boy was shocked when the apple he was enjoying was stolen by another little boy.

Another little girl was crying because a bigger girl had just taken away her cherries.

The two children who had stood before in the aisle of the theater came out again.

"That's not fair!"

The boy shouted, pointing his finger to the screen.

"I told you they are demons!"

The little girl angrily shouted.

At the same time, the crowd watching was also reacting with disgust. All were disturbed and chaos started to happen on the screen as well as inside the theater.

The writer took a deep breath to relieve himself of the impact of the two realities he was watching.

On the screen, the people started to hit each other, running after the ones who robbed what they were enjoying, while the intruders were having fun laughing with their stolen fruits. While others were shown just crying helplessly on the ground. The worst of all, dead people covered with blood.

The plantation and the people themselves were all destroyed on the screen. While the same thing was happening to people out of the screen as they started to argue about what they have seen, expressing their opinions, their beliefs, with their right and wrong, fair and unfair, just and unjust.

All the people watching the movie stopped when the screen turned off suddenly and there was nothing but darkness around.

There was silence.

Everyone got scared including the writer who was about to leave so sadly as he already turned around walking to the main door to go out.

Before he could step out of the theater, a horrific laughter filled the room. Then as if to finish the movie, the screen gave out a big reddish colored blood like title: FRUITS.

The writer was shocked and felt himself falling on his back from somewhere. Then he woke up. He fell from the sofa where he was seated while watching news on his television, which was then showing a preacher.

"Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them."

The preacher has just read a scripture of Matthew 7: 15 - 20.

The writer realized he fell asleep with a paper and the pen in his hand. He remembered he was trying to outline his idea of a story to write. But he saw a write up on his paper.

"Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong."

The line says 1 Corinthians 16:13.

He smiled, asking himself a question.

"Did I write this?"
